How what you enter is used
What you enter is used to build your party's page and to draw the image shared alongside it. Apart from what Google Analytics receives, it is not used for anything else.
What is stored
Publishing a party stores the title, the name you typed, the six Pokémon and the time. Nothing else is collected, and there are no accounts.
The address your connection comes from is checked while you publish, to stop one visitor publishing in a loop. It is not stored with the party.
Editing and deleting
There is neither. A published party cannot be changed or taken down, by you or by anyone else.
Who can see a party
A party URL is unguessable but public: anyone holding the link can open it. The name you typed is shown on that page and drawn into the image shared with it.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or pass on what you enter, except in the following cases.
- Where disclosure is required by law.
- What is sent to Google Analytics. It includes the name you entered.
Google Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used. It sets a cookie and sends Google the pages you view and where you came from. The title of a party page, and the link behind the share button, both contain the name you entered.
What is sent is handled under Google's privacy policy. To stop it being sent, use the opt-out add-on below; refusing cookies in your browser alone does not stop it. Building and publishing a party works either way.
The only cookies this site uses are the Google Analytics ones.
What your browser keeps
Two things are kept in your own browser rather than sent anywhere: the party you are still building, so that closing the tab does not lose it, and whether you chose the light or the dark theme. Both are cleared with the site's data, and neither reaches this site or Google.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change. When it does, the new version is published on this page.
